The Glucometer uses a CR2032 battery that can be replaced by gently depressing and sliding the battery door off of the back of the device. Make sure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive side of the battery facing out. A new battery should last for about 6 months of average use.

Connecting Your Glucometer to Your Phone

1. Download and open the myTula app.

2. Insert the included battery to the back of your glucometer.

3. Tap on the “Check Glucose” button.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Glucometer Troubleshooting Tips

If your glucometer devices fails to connect to your phone after following the steps above, try the following.

  1. Make sure the glucometer has a fresh CR2032 battery.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Make sure your glucometer is near your phone.
  4. While your glucometer is off, push and hold the button on the back.
  5. The front light should flash, and “BLE” will display on the screen.
  6. If the lights don’t flash and the screen doesn’t display anything, try replacing the battery. The device uses a CR2032 battery that can be found in most supermarkets and pharmacies.
  7. Open the myTula app and tap on the “Check Glucose” button.
  8. Insert a test strip.
  9. Use your lancet as described in the instructions and touch a drop of blood to the end of the test strip.
